Meet ReGina Newkirk Rucci
(Principal & Founder)
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping organizations cut through complexity, find clarity in their mission, and create environments where people work with purpose instead of confusion. My approach blends strategic thinking with deep curiosity about people how they communicate, what motivates them, and what gets in their way.
Edge Over Solutions emerged from my passion for helping teams align their efforts, strengthen their culture, and unlock the full potential of their work. I believe that every challenge has a root cause, every strategy has a story, and every organization can rise higher when given the right tools and support.

My Philosophy
Successful organizations know both their what and their why. Once those are clear, the essential work is creating alignment through communication, accountability, and measurable goals.
A healthy strategy includes voices from every level of the organization, not just the leadership team. When people feel heard, invested, and informed, they move together with clarity. That’s when transformation becomes possible.

Q. What’s your consulting philosophy or approach?
As an organization, you have to know your what and your why. After having those answers, so much of what is needed is clarity, measurements and accountability, and effective and consistent communication. It’s critical to have multiple voices in the process, and they must come from throughout all levels of the organization.
Q. What’s the most rewarding part of the work you do?
I love contemplating the big question. Strategic planning, development strategy, communications strategy – they all have the big question. And that will generate other questions. Thinking through questions to arrive at a tailored solution that makes sense for that organization is one of the things I love most in this work.
Q. What’s a common challenge you see organizations facing, and how do you help them overcome it?
Regardless of the challenge, from dysfunctional cultures to team buy-in on corporate redirection, effective communication is key. However, what I often see is that what leadership believes they are communicating and what employees feel was communicated are radically different. When those two align, a lot of challenges disappear.
Q. What’s your favorite icebreaker question?
What’s the most useless thing in your house? I have heard some really funny responses to that one.
Q. What’s something surprising people wouldn’t guess about you?
I love hosting trainings because it’s a great way to meet people and learn more about who they are and what their hopes are. Understanding and connecting with people is a personal passion of mine. That and I love making ice cream, pairing unique flavors together to create something interesting. My favorite is an Asian Pear and Sake sorbet.

A Common Challenge I See
Most organizational friction can be traced back to miscommunication. Leaders believe they’re communicating clearly, but employees experience something very different.
When those two perspectives align, culture strengthens, engagement rises, and obstacles begin to fade.
My role is to help bridge that gap so your message lands the way you intend it to.
